Bestseller Unveils ‘Made in Spain’ Brand: Balmohk Launches Online Platform
The Danish multinational’s new project is the first to be developed and launched outside its headquarters. From Spain and with its own team, the new brand aimed at a young public wants to open 500 stores in five years.
Offer for men and women, jeans, dresses, shirts or coats. Balmohk, the brand that the Danish giant Bestseller has designed and launches from Spain, goes to market. As Modaes reported last July, the group plans to open 500 Balmohk stores in five years.
Bestseller has launched today the online platform of the new brand, while it has activated the profiles on social networks, to go to market with the autumn-winter 2025 collection. Both on the website and social profiles, the group seeks to interact with users by generating a conversation that wants to adapt to the new generations.
Balmohk began to take shape in 2023 and is the first Bestseller brand to be born beyond its headquarters in Denmark. Balmohk has been created through the new company Balmohk Fashion and will operate globally from the group’s headquarters in Madrid, where it has its own team.
Bestseller launches Balmohk with prices ranging from 19.99 euros to 25.99 euros for women’s jeans.
The average price of the new brand’s garments is, according to the company, below that of the main chains aimed at the youth segment. A pair of women’s jeans ranges from 19.99 euros to 25.99 euros.
The brand already has a team of thirty people working in areas such as product, design, controlling, ecommerce and marketing. The team, which will continue to grow in the coming months, is led by Andrés Contreras, CEO of Bestseller in Spain, Portugal and Latin America and a member of the Danish group’s senior management.
Bestseller aims to finish the brand’s first year of activity with twenty stores and to reach a network of five hundred in five years. Madrid, Granada, Vitoria, Zaragoza and Castellón are the first five Spanish cities to have Balmohk stores. In early 2026, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao and Malaga will be added, all of them in shopping centers.
