Paloma Wool lands in its city of origin. The Barcelona-based company driven by entrepreneur Paloma Lanna, daughter of the founders of Nice Things, will open its first flagship store in the country, located at 358-360 Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona. The company has become one of the benchmarks of the new generation of Spanish women’s fashion.

After filling the Catalan capital with the announcement of its first opening in Barcelona (installing advertising in streets such as Paseo de Gracia), Paloma Wool will be installed in the space previously occupied by Garage Splendit, in the middle of Avenida Diagonal. The store is currently under construction.

Although the opening was scheduled for last June, an exact date has not yet been published for the brand’s second store, which follows its first permanent establishment, located in New York’s Soho, which opened last April.

Paloma Wool has launched temporary stores during the last six years in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York and Seoul, a tour under the name World Tour.

The brand began its development in 2014 within Intermalla, the management company of Nice Things, the brand that her parents, Paloma Santaolalla and Miguel Lanna, founded. In 2020, as a result of Paloma Wool’s growth, the brand was spun off from Intermalla to start operating independently.

Paloma Wool, which is based in Barcelona and operates through the company Puro Paseo, ended 2023 with a turnover of 12.82 million euros, which represented a growth of 30.92% compared to 9.38 million euros in the previous year. The company recorded a net profit of 2.70 million euros, compared to 2.18 million euros in 2022.
